EVC Throttle Controller: Designed to Eliminate Throttle Lag and Improve Throttle Response
Modern vehicles rely on 'fly by wire' throttle technology to measure pedal pressure & position to send signals to the engine's computer and convert it to acceleration. Many of these systems have a noticeable delay. EVC throttle controllers by iDrive (rebranded as Ultimate9) reduce this lag and improve response to make the acceleration feel more responsive.

Featured Modes:
EVC throttle controllers are equipped with a very intuitive display and settings menu for easy use. There are 4 modes that offer different settings for different driving styles and conditions.

1. Normal Mode (--): Normal mode simply replicates the factory throttle settings, allowing the EVC to operate as if it is switched off. This mode is ideal for everyday driving or when sharing your vehicle with someone unfamiliar with enhanced throttle response.

2. Economy Mode (E): Economy mode features 9 adjustable settings that reduce the initial throttle response for smoother acceleration and greater control. The higher the setting, the more subdued the throttle becomes, making it ideal for off-road driving, heavy traffic, low-speed towing manoeuvres, and loose or uneven surfaces where improved traction is required.

3. Ultimate Performance Mode (U): Ultimate Performance mode offers 9 adjustable settings to enhance your vehicle's throttle response and can be grouped into three stages:
Ultimate Mode 1-3: Smooth, responsive acceleration for everyday driving.
Ultimate Mode 4-6: Sharper throttle response for confident overtaking, towing, and highway driving.
Ultimate Mode 7-9: Maximum throttle response with instant acceleration for the ultimate driving experience. Beast mode—don't say we didn't warn you.

4. Automatic control (AC) Mode : Automatic Control mode is the intelligent "set and forget" option that sets the EVC apart from other throttle controllers. Instead of selecting a fixed throttle setting, the EVC continuously monitors pedal pressure and automatically applies the most suitable Ultimate Mode response. It's perfect for long-distance driving, towing over varying terrain, or when driving conditions constantly change.

Vehicle Fitment Guide 

Note: It can take a few days to get used to the EVC's different modes and what works best for the driver. We recommend starting on or around Ultimate mode 4 (U4), this gives the driver plenty of throttle response to notice a substantial difference, without being too much to handle straight out of the box. Once the driver is comfortable with the different Ultimate mode settings, then we recommend experimenting with Automatic and Economy Mode.
